Meet the Artist – Joshua Craze

On Nov. 12, the students from GLBC 1200: Global Cornerstone Seminar had the opportunity to hear novelist and essayist Joshua Craze talk about his current residency at the Embassy of Foreign Artists, where he is doing research for a novel, the narrative for which emerges in dialogue with the archive of the UNHCR. He spoke about history and literature, Elias Khoury and Edward Said, the fragment and the bureaucrat, redemption and biometric surveys, amongst other themes.
