Global Thanksgiving 

The best way to immerse yourself into the international community is to attend the Webster Global Thanksgiving event. It is a student-organized event that brings global cuisine togehter in one place, on campus. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to prepare one or more dishes of their choice from their culture. Along with the food, there is an open bar organized by the Student Government Association (SGA), and profits/proceeds from the bar go to the SGA’s budget. Global Thanksgiving is an event open to all members of the community, and it is also free. Students that attend typically leave with new insights of the cultures that make up Webster’s international community (not to mention a full belly). Global Thanksgiving happens every Fall 2 term, following the Thanksgiving date, the last Thursday of November.
